Ensure the operation of all buildings and infrastructure areas is compliant with approvals and regulations
Responsible for statutory requirements, inspections and documentation
Plan and execute construction and infrastructure projects, including schedule, budget and quality control
Advise business units on building regulations and construction-related matters
Responsible for maintenance, inspection, repairs and technical availability
Manage expert inspections and technical service providers
Manage cleaning, janitorial, external grounds and winter services
Conduct safety briefings and inductions for external contractors
Responsible for space allocation planning and rent/accounting
Ensure up-to-date, complete building documentation
Execute all relevant procurement processes in SAP/ARIBA
Lead and develop the facility management team of three employees
Manage interfaces with internal and external partners (including business units, authorities, Evonik, tenants, suppliers and experts)

Completed technical degree in Facility Management or Technical Building Services
5–7 years of professional experience in facility management, building services engineering or project management
Knowledge of building regulations is an advantage
Proficient in SAP/ARIBA and MS Office
Strong communication skills, team orientation and persuasiveness
Structured, independent and reliable way of working
