Superintendent – Risk and Improvement

Role Overview

• Own and uplift the Operations Risk Register and critical control performance activities
• Lead the Management of Change process, ensuring changes are assessed, communicated and implemented effectively
• Support and guide incident investigations (including ICAMs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain Cowal’s Enterprise Risk Management System and Legal Compliance Register, ensuring alignment with Evolution standards and legislation
• Work closely with operational leaders, helping them embed risk processes in day to day activities and build confidence in business risk decision‑making

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in risk, compliance or senior HSE roles, ideally within mining or heavy industry
• Strong exposure to operational mining environments (or Oil & Gas, Heavy Industry)
• Proven capability in ICAM investigations and lead auditing
• Experience in change management and business improvement tools
• Sharp strategic thinking and strong problem‑solving skills
