Play a key role in driving our Surgical Technologies product portfolio in Northern Europe (Benelux & Nordics).
Be a partner for the regional sales teams and be instrumental in the creation and execution of key initiatives in the annual marketing plan, towards near-term revenue targets and future growth.
Start with a familiarization phase to learn about our portfolio and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Explain different product features to different customers as appropriate to their needs.
Understand the market dynamics, key competitors and their relative strengths/weaknesses.
Drive local strategies, action plans and campaigns towards business results – in alignment with the Annual Marketing Plan and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with the larger team to improve market access across the portfolio.
Create marketing strategies to understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between the customer and the product or portfolio.
Collaborate with sales training/sales enablement to develop and execute education plans, sales trainings and to drive new product launches at local level.
Develop sales tools, customer engagement programs, events and communication plans for the product or portfolio.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for product-related questions coming from the regional sales teams.
Provide analytical support to set price.
Establish/refine metrics to determine if marketing objectives have been effective in driving customer engagement.
Assess trends in customer engagement and incorporate trends into strategic planning.
Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, institutions, customers, etc. generating strategic insights and deep understanding of customer needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required.
4+ years of work experience is required, including experience in fields such as international Marketing, Product/Brand Management, Sales or related.
Ability to accurately and effectively lead/manage (marketing) projects to ensure timely outcomes, business performance and growth.
Excellent interpersonal communications, persuasion and presentation skills – with fluency in spoken and written English.
Strong strategic-thinking, adaptability, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and to also establish relationships/work in collaboration with others.
Demonstrated ability to relate to stakeholders and customers from different markets and cultures.
Ability to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
Impeccable work ethics & integrity in managing confidential information.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
You have a valid driver’s license and you are flexible to travel in the region as this position involves sales support and customer interaction.
Experience in industries such as MedTech, BioTech, Pharmaceuticals, healthcare or related would be an advantage.
Experience with capital devices/equipment would be a plus.
MBA is preferred.
