Support data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts.
Collaborate with the Analytics Team Lead to derive insights and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
Assist in the organization, cleaning, and processing of data related to schools, colleges, and corporations.
Analyze data using various tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns.
Contribute to the development of reports and presentations to document data processing procedures and communicate findings.
Work with other team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Interns who join JerseySTEM as Data Analysts as new Joinees will be invited to a 4 hour/day/4 week 'BootCamp'.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or relevant experience.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI, Python, R, or SQL. (We use Tableau and MySQL.)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
Familiarity with Tableau Prep is a plus.
Interest in STEM education and contributing to closing the gender gap in the field.
Prior experience with research is advantageous.

All JerseySTEM roles are pro-bono (unpaid) positions.
Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership.
K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.
