Role Overview
- Deliver innovative products and services at a rapid pace
- Engineer a platform that provides services and frameworks to developers
- Own, automate and troubleshoot Production Releases for a complex set of Biocomputing solutions
- Implement Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) and DevOps
- Research, test, and pilot a new metrics collection system
- Define, select, implement and support a new configuration management system
- Work closely with development staff and train them on keeping data safe
- Prototype reusable patterns and tools and coach developers
- Setup/Configuration/Administration of tools like GIT and Splunk
- Assist development teams in implementing the versioning and archiving of software artifacts
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer Science or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or relevant technical role
- Five (5) years of experience working with Windows/Linux Administration, AWS & AWSCLI, SaltStack, Docker, MS SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Splunk
- Articulate enough to explain ideas/concepts simply and effectively
- Demonstrated work experience managing complex infrastructure projects with minimal supervision
- Works well with group inside and outside of defined team
