Lead and drive projects (e.g., improvement initiatives, product launches) for logistics management and execution through process analysis, KPI/data insights and cross-functional implementation, ensuring and enhancing efficiency, service quality and cost-effectiveness
Conduct structured situation reviews and stakeholder interviews, and perform KPI/data analysis to identify opportunities and necessary changes in logistics management and execution
Develop solution concepts and refine them to implementation readiness, quantify benefits (cost/time/service), and build a business case for change
Define the future continuous improvement framework, including approach, pipeline management, opportunity assessment, and implementation and execution
Ensure clear communication and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and teams within and beyond logistics to align requirements, solutions, timelines and resources
Define, monitor and report success measures; ensure expected improvements are sustained through embedded controls and identify and implement corrective actions as needed
Requirements
University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field
Proven experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM), with strong emphasis on data analytics and data-driven decision making
Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain flows and their impact on service, cost and performance
Strong continuous improvement mindset focused on efficiency, standardization and optimization; experience with improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma) is an advantage
Well-developed conceptual and solution-oriented thinking, with a structured approach to problem solving
Solid knowledge of logistics operations concepts, processes and operating models (e.g., warehousing, transportation, inventory management, order fulfillment)
Ability to translate complex data and processes into clear concepts, models and pragmatic solutions
Strong SCM data analytics capabilities, including working with large datasets, KPIs, performance dashboards and deriving actionable insights and recommendations
Well-developed project management skills, including planning, prioritization and coordination of cross-functional activities
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines and deliverables in a dynamic environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to collaborate effectively in international and cross-functional teams and to influence decision-makers based on data-driven insights
Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
