Design clinical trial protocols for collaboration programs across early to late-stage development
Collaborate with Clinical Development teams to create clinical development plans and strategies
Analyze preclinical/clinical data, scientific literature, and technical information to identify high-potential innovations
Build relationships with target companies and explore collaboration opportunities
Represent BioNTech at industry conferences, presentations, and symposiums to scout promising opportunities
Partner transparently across internal departments including legal, IP, alliance management, and external collaborators

MD with clinical background in Oncology or equivalent advanced degree preferred
At least 8 years of relevant experience; 3 plus years specifically in Oncology within biotech/pharma industries
Strong understanding of clinical development methods from First-in-Human (FIH) trials to registration
Proven ability to design trials based on clinical development plans (CDPs) and translate them into actionable protocols
Collaborative spirit with demonstrated success working across multidisciplinary teams and external partners
Exceptional analytical skills to synthesize large datasets into clear recommendations for senior management
Flexible self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments; impeccable integrity and attention to detail
