This position is responsible for leading Minerva’s meat trading/sales operations in the region, driving sales growth, and expanding market share through strategic sourcing and customer relationship management.
The role involves overseeing the daily activities of the trading team, negotiating purchase and sales agreements, managing key customer accounts, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Developing and implementing sales and trading strategies to meet revenue and profit targets and Go to Market Strategy.
Identify new business opportunities and expand Minerva’s presence in domestic and international meat markets.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers to secure favorable terms and manage trading risks.
Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Monitor global meat market trends, pricing, supply/demand dynamics, and competitor activity.
Provide customers with detailed information on Minerva products, including sourcing, quality, cuts, and preparation methods.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to the team.

Some existing relationships in the food industry (desirable)
Spanish/ Portuguese language is a differential (desirable)
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the meat industry or food products sector.
Strong knowledge of meat products, cuts, and the meat supply chain.
