Develop and maintain group automation standards in alignment with global best practices
Act as the interface between group and local automation teams to ensure consistent implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of group automation standards across all sites
Serve as technical lead and provide support for group strategic automation projects, overseeing all phases from concept through completion
Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, IT, and Maintenance to develop automation solutions aligned with the company’s global operations
Manage and coordinate relationships with strategic vendors and suppliers to drive innovation, enhance system performance, ensure seamless integration, and align solutions with group goals and standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or a related field
At least 5 years of professional experience in process automation technologies, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
Proven experience with PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems
Familiarity with global manufacturing standards and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO)
Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. IoT, AI, machine learning) is an advantage
Strong ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and support and motivate team members in an international project environment
Excellent communication skills and excellent English skills, written and spoken
Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%
