Sourcing, screening, and selecting Craft/Trades applicants to fit project-specific requirements
Extending offers and completing all related correspondence and onboarding requirements for skilled craft
Assisting with the placement of skilled labour, including transfers between projects and updating labour tracking systems accordingly
Analyzing, understanding, and applying labour agreements
Assisting in the site mobilization of successful Craft/Trades personnel
Verifying Technical and Safety Qualifications
Performing administrative duties such as scanning, tracking, completing forms, and taking meeting minutes.
Creating and maintaining confidential hard and electronic files
Fostering positive relationships with colleagues, clients, Building Trade organizations, and subcontractors
Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders, as required and developing and maintaining strong, customer-focused relationships with key stakeholders and all decision-makers
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years in labour relations or related field preferred
Must be able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly fast-paced environment
Be able to navigate the various Microsoft Office applications proficiently
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines
Be able to shift priorities seamlessly, have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Previous experience in labour relations and unionized environments (Preferred)
