Provide support for nuclear fuel handling equipment or outage critical cranes
Conduct field service support at remote operating nuclear power plants and at local service center operations
Troubleshoot, maintain and support equipment in the field
Change procedures, redline and approve design changes
Continually improve process
Provide technical guidance to technicians
Execute engineering-based decisions for installations and outage support
Report to the Manager of FHE and Cranes Operations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Masters degree preferred
5-10 years discipline related Engineering experience required, 10+ years of experience preferred
Principal engineering level preferred
Prior nuclear experience preferred
Requires the ability to occasionally carry/lift up to 50 pounds
Individual must possess full range of motion i.e. ability to reach, climb, kneel, squat, grasp, bend forwards and backwards, sit, and stand for a minimum 4 hours per day
Individual must be able to pass a Westinghouse physical which includes a spirometer for the ability to wear a respirator.
