Oversee and manage the end-to-end media billing process , ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, reconciliation, and payments.
Audit and review media invoices to ensure accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to contract terms.
Reconcile discrepancies between media buys, invoices, and payment records, working closely with finance, media planners, and vendors to resolve issues.
Monitor and enforce compliance with company financial policies and industry regulations.
Generate and analyze billing reports , providing insights and recommendations to management for process optimization.
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes , including accruals and reporting.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in media billing operations.
Train and mentor junior billing specialists , providing guidance and best practices for billing and reconciliation.
Assist with audits , ensuring all necessary documentation and records are accurate and accessible.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams, media vendors, and agencies to streamline billing operations and address escalated issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
3-5+ years of experience in media billing, finance, or accounting in a media agency, marketing firm, or advertising company is required.
Strong knowledge of media billing systems and financial processes.
Proficiency in media buying and accounting software (e.g., Mediaocean, Strata, NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Experience leading process improvements and training junior team members is a plus.
