Role Overview
- Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Perform backlog calculation, interpret backlog data, and perform analysis on projects
- Collaborate with project finance and contracts team to ensure accurate backlog information
- Maintain and enhance internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Conduct regular unbilled reconciliation and analysis
- Lead and participate in various special projects assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA certification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, FAR, CAS and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
