Lead and manage goals tied to key performance indicators including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), bad debt exposure, and credit limits
Develop and maintain policies for billing, cash application, credit limits, credit holds, and collections
Design and implement scalable procedures and technology‑enabled solutions to streamline billing, collections, and credit limit management
Build strong working relationships with Sales management
Manage, mentor, and develop the Billing, Cash Application, and Collections teams
Ensure daily bank reconciliations and support cash forecasting and visibility
Partner on acquisition integrations
Prepare and present monthly Accounts Receivable aging to the CFO and VP of Accounting
Requirements
Strong Financial Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, with 5+ years of billing and collections experience and at least 2 years of people management responsibility.
Process‑Driven and Analytical: Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify issues, design solutions, and drive measurable improvement.
Systems and Technology Savvy: Preferred experience supporting financial systems implementations and working across CRM and ERP platforms.
Collaborative Business Partner: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Operations.
Proven People Leader: Demonstrated success building, mentoring, and leading teams, with a passion for developing others and delivering high‑quality results under tight deadlines.
