Senior Associate – Insurance Financial Professional Disputes

Role Overview

• Represent clients in a high-value advisory, litigation and arbitration capacity across the core insurance, reinsurance and commercial sectors referenced above.
• Provide policy coverage advice, liability defence and cyber breach coach services.
• Draft and review policy wordings, regulatory compliance documentation and advise on data protection issues.
• Work with an array of domestic and international insurance, reinsurance and commercial clients.
• Support cross-border matters involving other Clyde & Co offices whether involving Irish or English law.

Requirements

• Is a minimum 6 years PQE.
• Holds previous experience advising on insurance coverage issues and acting in the defence of non -personal injury litigation and arbitration disputes.
• Demonstrates substantial experience managing defence litigation matters before the High Court, including the Commercial Court.
• Qualified solicitor in Ireland (previous experience and/or a qualification in England & Wales is an advantage but not essential).
