About this role
Role Overview
You will work directly with the CEO on GreenPocket’s strategic direction
With your broad interests, you will identify market-relevant key elements over several months to acquire new direct customers from a specific segment (e.g., retail, municipalities, and housing industry)
From your findings you will derive concrete action items and actively engage in initial conversations with potential customers
You welcome the challenge of regularly dealing with new or changing regulatory requirements (e.g., energy efficiency regulations) and assessing their impact on the company
Additionally: you are passionate about entrepreneurship and interested in exploring growth opportunities in new markets
Market and competitive analyses are exactly your thing
You enjoy working on market entry concepts, business models for enterprise customers, and innovations, creating Ideal Customer Profiles and sometimes taking creative approaches
You independently lead your market-relevant strategic projects, but know exactly when to involve internal stakeholders such as Sales, Product Management, Development, and Controlling, and you also engage with external service providers
You will convince us with your creative skills when developing marketing campaigns and customer acquisition strategies
You will discuss all your results directly with the CEO
Requirements
You have successfully completed a degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related program with a management focus, or you have another comparable qualification that convinces us
You are a smart thinker who understands context and can analyze it quickly
Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in Business Development at a software company, preferably at a startup or in consulting
It would be desirable if you are interested in energy efficiency and AI topics or already have experience in this area
With your very good PowerPoint skills you captivate others with your presentations, and you also feel very confident in Excel
With your very good German and English skills, you are comfortable in any conversations with potential customers.
