About this role
Role Overview
- Conduct product certification assessments across varied environments, ensuring compliance with BSI’s rigorous certification schemes and Kitemark standards.
- Support clients through their assessment process with us to achieve certification to Kitemark, Benchmark, and various Product Testing specifications.
- Work with a wide range of clients from SME to Blue Chip organisation, across varied industry sectors.
- Conducting site audits both remotely and at client sites within a defined territory.
- Responsible for taking clients through their audit process from opening meetings, product assessment, through to creating the report and presenting your findings.
- Support the recommendation for the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy, procedures and prescribed time frame.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above with electronics related major or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject
- ISO 9001 auditor having undergone Hazardous Substance Process Management (HSPM) training
- Minimum 2 years working experience in the fields of electronics, electrical manufacturing or semiconductor industries
- Commercial understanding of compliance industry, minimum 2 years quality system management
- Knowledge of business processes and application of management standards QC 080000.
- Previous auditing experience is a plus, as well as expertise in quality management systems (ISO 9001).
