CVS Health is building a world of health around every individual, aiming to simplify health care. As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive the strategy and execution of the Prior Authorization platform, collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives, customer outcomes, and regulatory considerations
- Lead product discovery by conducting research and gathering user insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
- Translate complex business, customer, and regulatory requirements into well-defined epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate product requirements and feature prioritization, making informed tradeoffs across scope, timeline, quality, and resources
- Partner closely with engineering and design to shape technical solutions, ensure scalability, and deliver high-quality features on time
- Lead release planning and cross functional readiness, ensuring alignment across technology, operations, compliance, and business teams
- Foster strong cross functional collaboration and communication to manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and drive execution
- Engage with key stakeholders—including executives, customers, partners, and internal teams—to gather feedback, share insights, and build alignment around product direction
- Contribute to continuous improvement of product management practices and ways of working through influence and mentorship
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of professional experience, with significant experience in product management or related roles owning complex products or platforms
- Proven ability to contribute to product strategy and execute effectively, from discovery through delivery and postlaunch optimization
- Strong track record of execution and delivery excellence, including planning, delivering, and supporting products across the full lifecycle
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to influence without authority across diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging technical and nontechnical audiences, including senior leaders
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern product development practices
- Proficiency with product management and delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, analytics platforms)
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, healthcare administration, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in healthcare/pharmacy, specifically around Medicare Part D as it relates to Coverage Determination/Redetermination process
- Familiarity with prior authorization, utilization management, or workflow driven platforms
- Experience in collaborating on pricing, value realization, or go to market initiatives (without direct ownership)
- Product management certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or PMP
