Manage and optimize proforma (structural) and contingency vessel schedules for CMA CGM and partner vessels to ensure service reliability.
Effectively communicate ETAs and ETDs with internal and external stakeholders to support schedule recovery and operational alignment.
Monitor and manage off-hires, vessel stoppages, and breakdowns to minimize disruption and downtime.
Oversee and control additional operational costs (e.g., fuel oil, restows, vessel redeployment) to ensure cost efficiency.
Proactively analyze trends and recommend process improvements to enhance bunker efficiency and operational safety.
Prepare and present regular reports on vessel schedules, costs, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
Collaborate closely with vessel Masters on operational matters and provide support during emergencies and crisis situations.
Partner with Lines and Regional teams to support the development and execution of strategies to improve schedule reliability.
Ensure strict adherence to Joint Working Procedures (JWP) and all applicable international and local regulations.
Requirements
Degree from a recognized institution, or relevant seafaring experience (up to Second Officer) on container vessels.
Minimum 5 years of experience in container shipping operations, with a strong focus on line operations; prior experience in liner operations management is essential.
Strong knowledge of container vessel operations, including marine operations, bunkering, and chartering.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
Experience with vessel scheduling and stability software systems.
