Role Overview
Seeking a Strategic Sales Manager to increase Wiley’s digital market share
Manage a team of Digital Learning Executives and Customer Success Managers
Develop and deploy retention plans and strategies for Customer Success Managers
Travel to university and community college targets
Recruit and develop top talent at Wiley
Contribute to the achievement of strategic and operating goals and ensure best-in-class customer experiences
Requirements
Undergraduate degree, or equivalent work experience
3+ years proven success in sales
3+ years experience directly managing a high performing team
Exceptional understanding of the Higher Education digital content sales process
Thorough product knowledge of digital platforms and course management systems
In-depth knowledge of market and curricula, including strengths and weaknesses of Wiley’s list as compared to competitors
Proven record of creative and strategic planning
Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com proficiency
Must reside within the territory you will be supporting: Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia.
