About this role
Role Overview
- Deliver high-quality credit quality & hindsight assurance services, including reports, analysis, & hindsight checklist development
- Systemise & manage data sources for Loan Review & hindsight samples.
- Collaborate with front office & Credit teams to discuss findings & drive improvements.
- Prepare quarterly reports for Executive Management with actionable insights.
- Provide expert analysis on credit policy adherence, deviations, & exceptions to support targeted Internal Audit reviews.
- Achieve KPI targets for the Loan Review function.
- Conduct Country Banking Hub & Branch visits as part of Loan Reviews when required.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience in Commercial &/or Corporate Lending
- Strong strategic & commercial acumen with an ability to identify issues in loan proposals
- Expertise in credit risk analysis techniques, accounting principles, & financial tools
- The ability to create clear, insightful reports & presentations for stakeholders
- The ability to switch between big-picture thinking and detailed analysis as needed.
- Excellent communication skills
- written, verbal, & presentation
- with the ability to influence & negotiate
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications & core banking systems
- An understanding of Trade Finance, Securitisation, & Asset-Based Finance is highly regarded
- Experience in rural & commercial lending & knowledge of agribusiness industries is preferred.
