Ensuring the accurate recording of payroll-relevant data (hire and termination dates, contract changes, absences, bonuses, allowances/surcharges, etc.)
Maintaining and reviewing the time management system
Preparing certificates, statistics and reports for internal and external parties
Maintaining employee master data and digital personnel files
Acting as a point of contact for employees and managers on all matters relating to pay, social security and wage tax
Ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining and company regulations in payroll and administration
Developing process optimization opportunities and automation initiatives to improve workflows
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders such as the P&C Service Desk, HR Business Partners, health insurance providers and authorities
Proactively identifying discrepancies and supporting the resolution of payroll-related issues
Requirements
Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
At least 5 years of experience in payroll, ideally in an international environment
Solid knowledge of payroll tax and social security law
Confident use of HR/payroll systems, preferably SAP HCM or ADP
Strong numerical affinity, accuracy and reliability
Knowledge of Austrian payroll and salary administration is an advantage
Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
