Role Overview
Prepare and review federal and multistate tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and pass-through entities with an emphasis on California tax
Research tax issues and assist with tax planning opportunities for clients
Serve as a primary contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships
Requirements
Proficient with QuickBooks and QBO
Strong accounting / bookkeeping background
Experience with tax preparation software CCH Axcess, Prosystem or Lacerte and paperless workflow environment
Specific knowledge of California income tax
CPA or CPA-candidate preferred
