Manage the hand-off from Deal Desk to Accounts Receivable and Provisioning, ensuring contracts are accurately reflected in NetSuite (ERP) and flow seamlessly into downstream records (billing, revenue recognition, and Certinia, the Services delivery system)
Act as the primary point of contact for the team to resolve escalations on complex deals. In addition to team leadership, this role maintains individual contributor responsibilities and is expected to provide direct hands-on support and coverage during peak volumes or extenuating circumstances.
Drive the team toward successful period-end closes. This role requires flexibility for extended hours and occasional Saturday work during month-end and quarter-end cycles to ensure accuracy and deadline adherence.
Coordinate, review, and deliver ad hoc reporting requests from leadership. You must be comfortable prepping and manipulating this data yourself when necessary.
Partner with Sales and Services to resolve billing or booking discrepancies and Collaborate with Business Technology to optimize and test systems (NetSuite and order management integrations from Salesforce)
Own and enforce the company Bookings Policy across SaaS, Professional Services, and Sampling lines of business. This includes performing a critical monthly analysis to ensure product values are appropriately allocated between these lines for accurate financial reporting.
Oversee the transition and ongoing management of the ARR data cube-the Company’s source of truth for product and customer bookings and retention rates-from
Performance Management: Manage a global team of 9, setting clear KPIs while maintaining a culture of accountability and professional growth.
Regularly communicate bookings results, policy updates, and operational hurdles to the CFO and senior leadership.
Actively mentor team members, focusing on their professional development and ensuring the offshore team is fully integrated into our workflows
Requirements
5-7+ years in Finance Operations or Revenue Operations, with at least 3 years of direct people management experience.
High proficiency in Salesforce (CPQ) and NetSuite is required. Experience with Certinia (FinancialForce) and Tableau is a significant plus.
Advanced Excel skills and experience managing complex data structures (like ARR cubes).
Strong understanding of SaaS contracts and bookings, billing cycles, and the quote-to-cash process.
Ability to pivot between high-level strategy and deep-dive execution/data preparation.
A track record of driving results through others while maintaining high standards.
Ability to manage burnout, provide empathetic coaching, and develop talent.
Ability to translate complex technical/financial data into clear, actionable narratives for executive stakeholders.
