Partner with teams across CNN to evaluate what social content can be sold responsibly and creatively across CNN’s channels.
Vet sponsorship asks and proposals to ensure they are editorially appropriate, platform‑native, and feasible for production timelines.
Translate client briefs into actionable creative plans, production calendars, and asset lists.
Communicate requirements, deadlines, creative guardrails, and delivery expectations to all stakeholders.
Produce, shoot, edit, and package sponsored content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms, including shortform vertical video, IG Stories, carousels, cutdowns, etc.
Conceptualize and produce serialized or repeatable sponsored formats tailored to TikTok and Instagram.
Create platform‑native hooks, captions, thumbnails, and packaging optimized for performance.
Maintain creative excellence and uphold CNN’s editorial and brand standards in all sponsored executions.
Manage multiple sponsored programs at once, including timelines, approvals, creative reviews, delivery schedules, and handoffs.
Serve as the point of coordination between editorial partners and the off-platform team.
Ensure all deliverables meet expectations, legal/standards requirements, and platform best practices.
Requirements
3–6 years of experience producing social-first video and visual content.
Expertise in creating shortform content across Instagram (Reels, Stories) and TikTok, with a portfolio demonstrating platform fluency.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Experience working with sales, marketing, editorial, or branded content teams on client-driven or sponsor-driven executions.
Strong editorial judgment and the ability to uphold CNN standards within sponsorship frameworks.
Excellent organizational and communication skills: able to track details, juggle multiple projects, and synthesize information across teams.
Comfort working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Flexibility for occasional off‑hours, event-based, or rapid-turnaround production as needed.
