Produce real-time social coverage of in-person lifestyle events
Conceptualize, produce and experiment with serialized social-first content for TikTok and Instagram
Conceptualize and produce shortform trend-responsive vertical video for TikTok and Instagram
Produce sponsored social content in platform-specific formats
Analyze metrics, make data-driven decisions and identify trends that will inform our audience strategy
Curate and distribute social content from our editorial partners across TikTok and Instagram on a rotating basis, as needed, with a focus on optimizing content for widest audience possible reach
Utilize best SEO, GEO practices in social caption writing and curation
Create custom thumbnails for content
Act as an internal ambassador to partners on engaging Off-Platform presentation and help provide a feedback loop that can inform coverage decisions and on-platform offerings
Requirements
At least 3-6 years of social media experience at a media outlet
Experience creating engaging social content, including video, visuals and multimedia offerings
A power user of Adobe Premiere Pro
Understanding of user experiences across top social platforms and the algorithms that power them
Exceptional news judgment
Meticulous editing and creative copywriting skills
Experience using analytics tools to identify actionable takeaways and better serve our audiences
Experience creating social and digital franchise content is a plus
Flexibility is necessary for coverage on holidays and extended hours as news needs require
