Responsible for sales and support activities that improve Phileo's market development and sales activity in North America
Work closely with Phileo's Technical Services in a team selling format, frequently coordinating and developing sales opportunities with the Monogastric Sales Team
Leverage current knowledge and expertise of the North American poultry market segments to develop an understanding of the best application of Phileo's commercial products
Develop a close, collaborative working relationship with Phileo’s Technical Services Manager-Poultry and the Phileo North America Monogastric Sales Manager
Maintain ongoing market intelligence about the North American poultry marketplace to help identify new sales opportunities and commercial product applications
Utilize Salesforce for customer engagement documentation
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) preferably in Animal Science with an emphasis on poultry nutrition from an accredited university is required
5 or more years of experience in poultry nutrition and feed manufacturing sales are required
Strong professional interest in poultry feeding and poultry production/nutrition knowledge is required
Demonstrated aptitude and proficiency in commercial poultry nutrition, production methods, and value-added product application
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
Ability to travel 70% of the time within Canada and the United States for team meetings, trade shows, and face to face sales meetings
