About this role
Role Overview
Lead data governance, privacy and compliance across all people systems
Ensure alignment with Australian employment legislation and internal policies
Provide oversight of Workday stability, releases, integrations and enhancements
Drive accurate, timely and meaningful workforce reporting and insights
Develop and maintain people policies, procedures and employment templates
Assess and manage people‑related risk and assurance activities
Partner with IT, Payroll, Finance and senior leaders on systems and governance
Lead, coach and develop a small specialist team
Requirements
A degree in Human Resources, Law or a related discipline
Extensive experience managing HRIS / People Systems (Workday highly regarded)
Strong understanding of employment legislation, governance and data privacy
Proven experience leading system improvements and complex people processes
Advanced reporting, analytics and executive‑level communication skills
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capability
Experience in industrial, construction, resources or manufacturing environments (desirable)
Exposure to large blue‑collar workforces and complex industrial instruments (desirable)
Experience leading investigations, assurance activities or M&A integration (desirable)
