About this role
Role Overview
- Design roadway works (alignment/geometry, earthworks, drainage, signage, etc.).
- Perform calculations and verifications required to ensure sound design of roadway structures.
- Review pavement, marking, and signage plans to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Prepare quantity estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Licensed member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of road infrastructure in Quebec.
- Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer.
- At least 8 years' experience on projects for the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité Durable du Québec (Quebec Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility).
- Ability to communicate in French (spoken and written).
