About this role
Role Overview
- Perform the design of road works (alignment/geometry, earthworks, drainage, signage/traffic control, etc.).
- Perform calculations and checks necessary to ensure a sound design of road works.
- Review pavement, marking, and signage plans to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Prepare quantity estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in road infrastructure design in Quebec.
- Experience working on projects for the Quebec Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility).
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Able to communicate in French (spoken and written).
