Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role Overview

• Manage accounts receivable in compliance with billing guidelines.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and complete basic appeals.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure proper claims processing.
• Prepare and process adjusted and corrected bills as necessary.

Requirements

• Manage accounts receivable in accordance with compliance and regulatory guidelines.
• Responsible for collection of outstanding receivables through payer portals and/or phone lines.
• Ensure accurate billing of insurance claims.
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information (in a HIPAA-compliant way).
