Support the technical implementation and integration of narrative and cinematic experiences.
Work within established processes to ensure quest structures, dialogues, and narrative elements are correctly implemented and optimized in the game engine.
Implement and iterate systems, features, and dialogue based on narrative scenarios and established designs.
Execute complex scripting for quest structures, audio triggers, and interactive elements using internal tools and scripting languages.
Maintain and troubleshoot narrative and quest systems to ensure correct interaction with gameplay, animation, and audio.
Collaborate across departments (animation, audio, VFX) to ensure technical implementation matches the creative vision.
Support integration of voice-over assets, cinematics, and narrative content into game builds.
Assist with debugging and triaging narrative-related technical issues to ensure a smooth player experience.
Contribute to documentation of tools and workflows to preserve team knowledge.
Participate in playtests to identify bugs or pacing issues in narrative sequences.
Requirements
At least two years of professional experience in game design, quest design, or technical narrative design.
Experience contributing to at least one released title (AAA or high-quality indie).
Proficiency with scripting languages and game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity, or proprietary engines).
