Analyst, Intellectual Property

Role Overview

• Conducting corporate research and commercial due diligence
• Participating in information gathering calls with clients
• Identifying prospective buyers through market research
• Communicating effectively with clients and prospective buyers via emails and calls
• Creation of marketing collateral including sales teasers
• Management of virtual data rooms controlling access to confidential information
• Liaising with buyers to secure offers
• Supporting the IP Valuation team in the delivery of valuations and reports
• Data entry and mining tasks
• Attending industry events to develop relationships

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree in relevant field, including business, accountancy, law, marketing etc, or equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous
• < 2 years experience with intellectual property/restructuring preferred but not necessary
• Strong organisational skills
• Capable of managing multiple assignments at once against tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Collaborative team-player & self-motivated with ability to work independently, including whilst working remotely
• Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Strong drive for results, bias for action with superior time management skills
• Willingness to develop and further knowledge across the Intellectual Property and Restructuring/Turnaround sectors
