About this role
Role Overview
Strategic development and expansion of the “Automotive / Industrial / Engines” business unit within the AVANCO Group
Analyze market potential and trends in the high-performance segment for engines and powertrain solutions
Identify and qualify business opportunities
Manage existing accounts and acquire new customers
Take responsibility for achieving sales and profitability targets
Prepare sales and market reports
Support the development of pricing policy, cost calculations, the production portfolio and marketing strategy
Attend trade shows and customer events
Support tender and proposal processes
Collaborate with engineering, marketing and external partners to develop tailored solutions
Support certifications and approvals
Monitor market and competitors and derive actionable recommendations for executive management
Requirements
Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, engineering sciences or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in business development, sales or project management
Experience in the automotive/industrial sector, ideally with a focus on powertrain (desirable)
Knowledge of fiber-reinforced composites is an advantage
Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI); experience with ERP systems desirable
Strong communication skills, confident presence, customer orientation, reliability and ability to work independently
Willingness to travel
Strong conceptual and analytical skills
Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
