About this role
Role Overview
Identify and prospect accounting firms (chartered accounting firms)
Develop a client portfolio
Generate leads through direct outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn)
Handle inbound leads (website forms, trade shows, events)
Organize and conduct meetings (video / in-person)
Deliver demonstrations of the solution
Qualify accounting firms' needs and expectations
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations
Respond to requests for proposal and provide functional presentations
Negotiate and close sales
Manage follow-up through signature and project kick-off
Update and maintain the CRM (HubSpot)
Report on and analyze sales activities
Participate in professional trade shows and conferences (Ordre des Experts‑Comptables congress, regional events)
Provide market feedback to the product team
Requirements
Experience in B2B sales (ideally software/SaaS)
Good understanding of the challenges faced by accounting firms (a strong plus)
Proficiency in prospecting, discovery and closing techniques
Comfortable conducting product demonstrations
Ability to manage medium
to long-term sales cycles
Bachelor's to Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Business, Management, Finance
Proven first experience in B2B business development
Experience in payroll, HR or accounting is a major asset
