Cloud Operations Engineer

Role Overview

• Infrastructure monitoring: Monitoring Linux platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jaeger) and Windows (dedicated tools).
• Production systems management: Administration of databases, application servers and middleware.
• Incident resolution: Diagnosing and fixing outages and issues in production environments.
• Support and collaboration: Assisting Yooz teams with infrastructure matters and working with Microsoft Azure support.
• Automation and cloud: Deploying Infrastructure as Code and using Azure tools to optimize operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in similar roles.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s) and Linux scripting.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and PostgreSQL.
• Written technical English required for Azure support.
• Rigorous, conscientious, persistent and passionate about IT.
• Plus points: strong troubleshooting instinct to identify root causes and an interest in networking and security topics.
