Independently own the review and negotiation of standard SaaS agreements (MSAs, DPAs, Order Forms, NDAs).
Apply internal playbooks confidently to close deals efficiently while protecting key risk positions.
Act as a pragmatic partner to Sales and Customer Success, balancing commercial velocity with risk management.
Identify recurring negotiation trends and propose structural or template improvements.
Develop a strong operational understanding of how parcelLab uses and processes data.
Maintain and evolve customer-facing documentation (DPA, Sub-Processor Lists, Privacy Policies).
Support GDPR, UK and relevant US privacy compliance in day-to-day business operations.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure new features and initiatives align with regulatory requirements.
Take ownership of our contract repository (Nomio) and ensure data accuracy and visibility.
Drive improvements to templates, playbooks, and internal guidance materials.
Support the implementation of AI-driven workflows to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
Track key contracting metrics and contribute to improving legal SLAs.
Build strong, trusted relationships with Sales, Ops, Finance, and Product.
Requirements
A law degree (LLB/GDL) and 2–4 years of experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS or tech environment.
You have a strong grasp of SaaS contract structures, including liability caps, indemnities, data protection, termination, and IP.
You confidently explain risk trade-offs and defend key commercial positions.
You manage multiple deal threads independently and apply risk thresholds with sound judgment, escalating only when appropriate.
You are naturally curious about Legal Ops and automation.
You actively leverage AI and tooling to drive efficiency.
You are process-driven, detail-oriented, and focused on designing smarter ways of working — not just following existing ones.
You are pragmatic, collaborative, and commercially minded.
You stay calm under pressure and communicate with confidence across senior stakeholders.
You take ownership, deliver outcomes, and see matters through.
