Negotiate with landlords, landlords’ solicitors, and any other appointed external stakeholders for all new leases, renewals, exercising of options and terminations
Manage and approve all property related rental, outgoings and other invoices in a timely manner
Interface with the respective internal stakeholder to successfully define the parameters, lease terms, and limitations surrounding a possible lease, and related agreements.
Prepare final lease documents and summary of negotiated points for review and approval.
Manage Bank Guarantees.
Project management of refurbishments and rebranding of sites on time, within budget and meeting desired quality outcomes
Liaising with the council and certifiers directly on matters of planning and permits
Requirements
Undergraduate degree – B. Property Economics
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in property management and property lease administration, ideally within a multisite retail environment
Extensive experience in lease negotiation and understanding of the Retail Tenancy Act
Ability to read and interpret leases and relevant legislation by state
