Act as the linking pin between the European business and functions, IT and Group teams when relevant
Build strong productive relationships with the managers and staff within the European Business and across IT to facilitate effective business change based on a deep understanding of the business drivers and digital agenda of each party
Develop and execute project plans to identify and manage project requirements, resources and dependencies
Ensure that the direction of each project is achieving the agreed goals, on time and to budget; solving problems, mitigating risks
Design, implement and own metrics to track the progress and success of projects, including business outcome metrics to ensure delivery of measurables benefits post go-live
Manage the several project teams within the digital transformation programme and guide the workstream project managers to the outcomes agreed upon
Communicate frequently and comprehensively to ensure the alignment and support of the teams involved in Europe, IT and Group
Actively support local business owners in the European branches to drive change
Manage stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support, that they are kept updated of the progress of the projects status and that what is delivered meets their needs
Lead change initiatives by deploying effectively Hiscox project management methodologies and best practices and actively work in embedding such methodologies and frameworks when conducting projects
Challenge business analysis and make sure to keep the deliverables aligned with the IT and overall Hiscox Europe strategies
Extensive experience (10+ years) leading large-scale digital and technology-enabled transformations in complex, multi-country environments.
Strong understanding of digital customer experience (CX) principles, including end-to-end journey design, usability, conversion, and adoption metrics across Broker and Direct channels.
Strong technology literacy, with the ability to understand, and align on functional architecture, integrations, data flows, and platform constraints in collaboration with technology teams.
Experience in managing digital projects, ideally those based in low code technologies (e.g. OutSystems or similar) is desirable.
Demonstrated experience leading Agile or hybrid delivery models at scale, including coordination across multiple teams, vendors, and geographies.
Solid understanding of security, data protection, and regulatory considerations in digital platforms, with the ability to work effectively with Risk, Compliance, and IT Security teams.
Experience in overseeing and coordinating complex multi-country digital projects from inception to completion, including last phase of the digital products launch
Proficient in English and knowledge of Spanish and/or German languages would be of interest.
