Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all journal entries and reconciliations are completed timely.
Apply ASC 606 standards to our revenue streams, managing deferred revenue and complex contract terms.
Prepare monthly financial statements for management review.
Assist with the transition of our accounting function from an outsourcing to an in-sourcing model.
Assist with the implementation & testing of new accounting systems & with the development of a SOX framework.
Own Accounts Receivable (A/R) and assist with payroll as needed.
Assist in managing equity-based compensation accounting and cap table maintenance via platforms like Carta.
Monitor state nexus and ensure compliance with sales tax and franchise tax filings.
Prepare schedules and provide support for external audits.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in special projects as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.
4+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a solid foundation in US GAAP and Series A/B startup experience is the 'gold standard' for this role.
Demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting and accounting operations.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks while maintaining high attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on accuracy.
Interest in leveraging new technologies and automation to drive efficiency.
Manufacturing & Project Accounting experience are a plus.
