Assist with the administration and implementation of HR-related programs, policies, and practices of the company.
Administer programs and processes such as the employment process, new hire benefit elections and education, compliance programs, and training.
Develop and propose improvements to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of HR services and create a high level of customer service.
Support company efforts to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and other applicable requirements to include ERISA, HIPAA, OFCCP, EEO, COBRA, FMLA, and FLSA.
Partner with assigned business units to manage annual human resource processes and bring value to the business.
Counsel employees on career path and development opportunities, establish policies/procedures, and other HR related matters.
Help facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes.
Requirements
4 years of experience in an HR role focused on employee relations, bolstering employee experience, and employment laws/regulation adherence and application
Degree in HR, business management, or related field is strongly preferred
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus
Ability to build positive relationships and connect with others
High attention to detail
High level of initiative, drive, and professionalism
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong judgement and conflict resolution skills
Desire to work in a collaborative, supportive, team environment
Proficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with HRIS/ATS
Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire
