Role Overview
- Calculating and filing European VAT returns in a detailed and timely manner, ensuring the highest accuracy is maintained
- Communicating with the tax offices regarding your clients’ accounts and obligations
- Liaison with Tax authorities on VAT issues
- Managing VAT administrative duties and paperwork
- Managing VAT queries from both internal and external stakeholders
- Remaining up to date with VAT law and any changes in VAT legislation
- Providing great customer service to build trust, rapport, and a strong relationship with your portfolio
- Ad hoc projects as and when they arise
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in Italian and English
- Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Works well in a small team as well as independently
- Excellent multi-tasking ability
- Experience working in VAT/Accountancy/Finance department
