Collaborate with development and product teams to understand new features and improvements, and update documentation accordingly within set deadlines.
Translate technical information into accessible documentation that is both comprehensive and understandable to a wide range of users.
Create step-by-step guides, screenshots, diagrams, and other visual assets to aid user understanding.
Maintain the documentation site's technical stack (version upgrades), working closely with your technical point of contact and the Product Designer.
Review product and API specifications with a focus on optimizing the developer experience (error messages, field names, structure).
Proofread technical specifications and interface content to ensure grammatical consistency and an appropriate level of English.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer, with prior experience documenting REST APIs.
Proficiency with doc-as-code workflows (VitePress), Git, Postman, and OpenAPI specifications.
Excellent written English skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Ability to work closely with technical teams and translate complex information into easily understandable documentation.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet publication deadlines.
Knowledge of the payments domain and experience with knowledge management for internal documentation are a plus.
