About this role
Role Overview
- Supporting and enhancing the current IT infrastructure, applications, and communications for Hungary and East Europe sites
- Continuation of day-to-day operations
- Working closely with helpdesk, global infrastructure application, and program management teams to resolve issues
- Implement future enhancements on supported sites
- Providing support to the Regional IT Manager
- Working closely with the Global Engineering team
- Ticket handling, desktop support, WAN, LAN, telecom, servers, storage, network infrastructure (switches, routers, etc.)
- Desktop support, virtualization, security updates and patching
- Helping to support local application delivery platforms including barcoding, MES, LIMS or other local systems
Requirements
- 3+ years of Windows desktop and server experience
- Degree or equivalent, or relevant current IT Certifications
- Understanding of business processes
- Fluent Hungarian Language is essential
- Good English language skills
- German language knowledge is a plus
- ITIL foundation certification preferred
- Basic networking knowledge
- Basic Microsoft 365 administrative knowledge (Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
- Basic Active Directory knowledge
- ServiceNow or any ticketing system
- Productivity Tool experience – Microsoft Office
