Support Sales and the Business Unit (BU) with technical consultancy for swine projects (new farms, expansions, retrofits).
Translate customer needs into technical concepts (system selection, assumptions, constraints, scope definition and interfaces).
Provide prompt and accurate support for TOCs and technical clarifications during proposal processes.
Participate in client meetings, field visits and technical presentations as the technical representative of the Swine BU.
Perform technical feasibility analyses for swine-segment projects (production flow, housing concept, animal welfare requirements, climate control strategy, feeding concept and interfaces with manure management).
Identify technical risks, constraints and dependencies, proposing mitigation measures.
Support internal alignment between Sales, Engineering, Project Execution, Services and Suppliers, ensuring technical consistency from proposal to delivery.
Maintain and improve regional application standards, typical solutions and best-practice guides for the Pig BU.
Contribute to the quality of technical deliverables such as scope descriptions, inputs for bills of materials/equipment (BOM), technical notes and handover packages.
Collect market feedback (clients, integrators and internal teams) and turn it into product/application improvements.
Increase scalability by creating and delivering internal training (product characteristics, application rules, common mistakes, lessons learned).
Requirements
Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Animal Science, or related fields.
Proven experience in pig production and/or equipment/projects for swine production, ideally in one or more of the following areas: sales technical support / application engineering / project execution support / product support / field technical support / farm projects / integration / consulting.
Experience with commercial proposals and technical documentation is highly desirable.
Good understanding of production phases (e.g., gestation, farrowing/maternity, nursery and finishing) and their operational requirements.
Ability to analyze and communicate trade-offs (performance, animal welfare, cost, constructability and operation).
Proficiency in Excel and structured calculations; familiarity with equipment lists and technical specifications.
Ability to interpret layouts/technical drawings (CAD knowledge is a plus).
