About this role
Role Overview
Own the Scaleup Narrative: You will translate Malt’s "Big Picture" strategy into clear, engaging stories. You’ll ensure that as we grow and processes change, the why behind our pivot is understood by everyone.
Strategic Advisory: You will partner directly with our Co-Founder/CEO, Chief of Staff and Leadership team to refine their voice, ghostwriting key announcements and coaching them for high-stakes Town Halls.
Channel Mastery: You will audit our current "Slack-heavy" culture and build a sophisticated multi-channel strategy (Intranet, Newsletters, Video) that cuts through the noise. You will own the “All Hands” and “Ask me anything” as they are part of our scale-up rituals.
Bridge the Borders: With offices across Europe, you will fight "silo-culture" by creating rituals and content that foster a truly international, unified community.
Crisis & Change Management: You’ll lead the communication strategy for organizational shifts, product pivots, or market entries, ensuring transparency and maintaining high employee morale.
Culture & Celebration: Work closely with HR on the Culture rituals, Employees @NPS & Employer branding strategy.
Requirements
The Storyteller: You have +7 years of experience in Communications (Internal, PR), preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
The Scaleup Native: You understand the friction that comes with 600+ people. You know how to move from "informal updates" to "structured communication systems."
The Global Citizen: You are fluent in English (our primary language) and ideally possess a strong command of French, German, or Spanish. You are culturally sensitive to the nuances of a distributed European workforce.
The Tech-Savvy Creator: You aren't just a writer; you are comfortable with Notion, Slack, and maybe even a bit of Canva or video editing to make your messages pop.
The Listener: You don't just broadcast; you use surveys (eNPS) and focus groups to keep a pulse on employee sentiment.
