About this role
Role Overview
Serve as an administrative lead for the Development and Communications teams, ensuring workflow management, prioritization, and timely execution of strategic initiatives.
Track and monitor funder compliance requirements, reporting deadlines, and deliverables in coordination with program and finance teams to ensure accuracy and responsiveness.
Support donor engagement coordination, including maintaining accurate records in Salesforce, tracking cultivation activities, and managing acknowledgement and stewardship communications.
Prepare, track, and reconcile expenditure records, consultant contracts, vendor invoices, and credit card transactions against department budgets to strengthen internal controls.
Develop and maintain systems that improve visibility into development pipelines, fundraising progress, and communications campaigns.
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between Development, Communications, Program, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on proposals, reports, messaging, and deliverables.
Support data collection, impact reporting, and presentation materials to ensure storytelling reflects measurable outcomes and strategic priorities.
Manage departmental travel, conferences, executive scheduling, and high-level meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee organization of the Communications Department’s digital assets, including photo and video libraries and shared knowledge platforms.
Assist with special projects, board-facing materials, strategic events, and other initiatives that advance revenue generation and brand visibility.
Requirements
Associated degree from an accredited college/university or relevant work experience.
Minimum 5–7 year’s work-related experience in administrative, project management, nonprofit or other related duties.
Excellent computer skills including competency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn and work in multiple systems (Net Suite, Conga, Salesforce, proprietary systems)
Experience in Salesforce for departments’ contact information management.
Strong organizational skills; efficient and detail-oriented; strong skills in communicating progress on projects and duties.
Excellent writing and editing skills preferred
Knowledge of community development is a plus
Ability to collaborate with multiple LISC teams and representatives from nonprofit, corporate, philanthropic, and public sectors.
Capacity to multitask and set priorities for a challenging workload.
Commitment and/or experience working in the nonprofit sector preferred.
