About this role
Role Overview
- Execute the MRP process and review material requisitions.
- Analyze MRP exception messages and propose corrective actions.
- Plan and issue purchase orders, ensuring alignment with production needs.
- Send orders to suppliers and track order confirmations.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to delivery lead times.
- Conduct delivery risk analysis for materials and propose contingency plans.
- Schedule deliveries according to the confirmed horizon.
- Review inventory shelf life, plan disposals, and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Evaluate obsolete or non-moving materials and recommend actions.
- Prepare suppliers' payment forecasts.
- Calculate material forecasts to ensure availability.
Requirements
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience in Supply Chain and Materials Planning.
