Building Works Operations Manager – Deputy Director

Role Overview

• Oversee construction works operations
• Ensure operational follow-up of works included in the multi‑year investment plan (PPI)
• Coordinate stakeholders (contractors, design offices, project managers, etc.)
• Control quality: cost, schedule, safety, compliance
• Produce clear, concise site reports and regular reporting
• Perform technical assessments to identify renovation needs
• Contribute to the real estate master plan
• Identify potential cost savings
• Prepare and monitor public procurement contracts

Requirements

• Degree equivalent to BAC+2 to BAC+3 in building construction or civil engineering (or equivalent) with professional experience in a similar role, project delivery, or asset management
• Provide building expertise: structural works, finishes, building services (HVAC/plumbing/electrical), fire safety, asbestos, etc.
• Project management skills: coordinate, negotiate, plan and drive project delivery
• Knowledge of public procurement / public contracts
• Recognized for strong organizational skills and a rigorous approach
• Excellent written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to other software
• Driving licence (category B) required
