Responsible for leading and managing team of attorneys representing clients in all levels of insurance defense litigation
Collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes
Oversees legal file handling by assigned attorneys
Ensures adherence to Department policies, practices and procedures including timely and effective communications with clients and claims
Assists with the achievement of office goals
Proactively works with the leadership and stakeholders on staffing recommendations, hiring, onboarding, training, development, engagement, retention, and succession planning
Leads high performing team with a culture of trust, collaboration, and transparency
Fosters collaboration and partnerships, encourages diversity of thought, and communicates with stakeholders to achieve goals
Requirements
6 years as a licensed, practicing attorney and a member in good standing with the State Bar in the state(s) in which position is located and will practice required
Experience handling and trying cases of high exposure and/or complexity preferred
Multi-state jurisdictional practices and leadership experience or demonstrated leadership aptitude or comparable experience preferred
Licensed to practice law in applicable states required upon hire
